Since becoming a Realtor in 2001, I have learned one thing above all else (besides Location, Location, Location!) and that is, it’s all about the client! This is a service business. It’s about WIFY (what’s in it for YOU the client), not WIFM (what’s in it for ME). I believe in utilizing the latest technology for marketing and to effectively service my buyer and seller clients. And I believe in responsiveness, rather than waiting until the next business day to return the call. I strive to provide 100% service, 100% of the time. This is the most challenging market we’ve experienced since the early 1980’s. It requires innovative and "out of the box" thinking and solutions. We must utilize creative strategies for sellers, such as buyer incentives and mortgage interest buy-downs, rather than just more price reductions.
I am also passionate about Staging when it comes to selling homes. In 2007 I received my Accredited Staging Professional (ASP) certification and I am proud to offer my sellers a free staging consultation. Sellers, it’s a virtual "beauty contest" out there today! The top 20% in beauty AND the bottom 20% in price sell within weeks. Everything else sits for months. Price itself isn’t enough. Studies show Buyers want both price and beauty. Staging isn’t just a good idea, it’s ESSENTIAL to get a home sold today. We’ve got to use every means at our disposal to achieve the goal of a sale.
I enjoy working with both Buyers and Sellers, however some of my areas of specialization include: First Time Homebuyers, FHA Buyers, Relocation (both Buyers and Sellers), and providing resources for Sellers who may be "upside down" on their mortgages. Additionally, I handle rentals for landlords and tenants.
Geographically, I cover the North Side (near north, Lincoln Park, Lakeview, North Center, Lincoln Square, Roscoe Village, Wicker Park, Bucktown, etc). I also have extensive expertise in the west and southwest suburbs (eg. Hinsdale, Oakbrook, Naperville, Plainfield, Orland Park, Frankfort, Mokena/New Lenox and more).
In February 2010 I received the 2009 Prudential Annual Honor Society Award. This award is giving to individuals who have achieved a minimum of $75k in GCI (Gross Commission Income) and 25+ Residential Units. In 2009 this award was given to only the top 11% of all Prudential agents nationwide.
I am also listed under Realtors on Angie's List in Chicago. You will see many "A" ratings/reviews for me from happy clients!
